Prehistoric Kingdom will have several demos out before the final game. They will require to be entertained and fed, so it will be important to place down restaurants, rest areas (just in case they get tired!), rides and more to keep them feeling great! In order to do this, you will have to take maximum security measures and will have to place down buildings such as security shelters, security cameras and more! Keeping visitors happy will also be no easy task. Not everything however, will be just fun and games! The visitors will need to be kept safe from these great animals. Complete with a great weather system, ability for animals to breed and also the great feeling of watching your marine reptiles and flying animals live in peaceful harmony! Many creatures and animals will keep you entertained, all with complex and smart AI, top-notch sounds and beautifully detailed models. May it be keeping the great Tyrannosaurus or even the amazing Saber Tooth Tiger from escaping, or preventing storms and tornados from destroying your amazing hard work. There will be many challanges to face in Prehistoric Kingdom. As a park manager, you will have to do plenty of things, ranging from keeping the prehistoric creatures from escaping all the way down to researching new ammenities and more to make your park one of the greatest out there.
The main goal is to achieve a successfull theme park, properly investing the funds you have building attractions in order to make both your dinosaurs and guests happy. Which is currently being developed by a hard-working, dedicate team of talented artists from all around the world. Planet Zoo is an actual good game to play as a management game (planet coaster is a great building game, but not management), so this guys really need to get relly good with their game to make that audience share some time for their game, i wish them luck.Prehistoric Kingdom is a prehistoric themed, park management simulation game inspired by the likes of classics like Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and Zoo Tycoon 2. Guest are going to be incredibly hard to add, so i hope they have a good idea of what they are doing there. I personally wouldnt have gone the all modular grid those games had (because is super slow for more casual gameplay if you want to make something look incredible) and would have tried to implement between the sims walls building but mixing it with the freedom planet coaster has.
Its funny the modeular building is an exact copypaste of planet coaster/zoo but with a lot less freedom as for now (was incredibly hard for Frontier to get there). This is good for this team as now theres that niche in the market of actually good planet zoo game but with dinosaurs (frontier already said they cant add dinosaurs into planet zoo nor planet coaster because of the universal agreement, not even if the dinos dont look anything like in the movies). Frontier had to simplify JWE a TON because universal didnt want them go the route their planet games had and wanted console release at the same time. Reading the whole thread, instead of going the Jurassic world evolution route, they went the planet coaster/planet zoo one. Summarily:Ĭlick to shrink.Jurassic world evolution didnt came out recently (more than 2 years ago btw), it was made before this game started development because i remember getting bored of evolution and seeing one of the first releases for this game that had still nothing interesting on it. There you can find more in depth experience. Unlike JWE and JPOG planet zoo gets a lot of guest, A LOT. The size of the park is HUGE, specially for the graphics of the game.

If you have the PC to run it at high graphics they are ,imo, jaw dropping.being able to enter the park in first person view.The park management - the need to juggle between food contraceptives, staff paths/buildings,etc.The ammount of small details the park has - put an square with info from an exibit and you can see the square actually showing the species that its there.Environment customization- the amount of props to decorate stuff is off the charts.Lots of game modes - sandbox, campaign, challenges, franchise.The animals- not only they sound great and are pretty but also super adorable when interacting with stuff.Some UI stuff - not only is the UI ugly but its super intuitive to me.Some balanced stuff- like its hard to understand why janitors/maintenance people aren't cleaning/repairing stuff small animals like scorpions reproduce too fast and you can't "auto sell them".
